Curriculum Vitae
Paul de Havilland MSc MAPM
CAREER SUMMARY
Paul started out as an electronics engineer, designing systems to automate water industry equipment. This involved him in areas as diverse as sewage pumping, the automation of lock gates for British Waterways’ canals and water level monitoring for the dyke system in Holland.
As his career developed he became involved in the management side of the projects, and to equip himself for this new role, completed an MSc in Project Management. After ten years running a wide range of projects, Paul ran an internal training course around new quality procedures and discovered a love of training delivery and since then has made training his career.
For the past 8 years, Paul has delivered courses centering on project management, including PRINCE2, and Microsoft Project with a focus on planning and control. He has also been involved in developing course material and managing large training rollouts including training needs analysis.
Paul’s delivery is consistently excellent. Delegates and companies appreciate his passion for project management together with his desire to help others realise their full potential within whatever Project Management role they find themselves.
